Rotarian of the year!

As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

We are very excited to announce a fund-raising opportunity for the Polio Challenge in District 7710 that every Rotarian can participate in!
We have negotiated with Raleigh ’s Rocky Top Hospitality to give 15% of two night’s total sales to the PolioPlus program!
We would ask that you promote this opportunity within your club, invite guests and plan group dinners at the two following locations:
MICHAEL DEAN’s Seafood & Oyster Bar on Tues., Oct 20  (5 pm to close) 6004 Falls of the Neuse Rd   Raleigh , NC   27609
BOGART’S American Grill on Wed., Oct. 21 (5 pm to close) 510 Glenwood Ave. South  Raleigh , NC   27603
Again, 15% of total sales for these two evenings will be given to our District as a contribution to our $200M Polio Challenge.  You do not have to do anything special when you go to these restaurants.  Just go and enjoy a good meal.  We will be getting the 15% from ALL patrons during these times.  What a great way to honor Polio Awareness Day which is on Oct. 24!
Be creative!  Tell your neighbors and friends!
There will be a special side room set up for Rotarians at Michael Dean’s on Tues. night, Oct. 20 if you would like to eat there.  PolioPlus materials will we on display at the restaurants as well as general Rotary membership materials.  This will be a great opportunity to show prospective members how Rotary gives back!
Please email us back with any questions about this event or about your individual club’s 4.5 year Polio Challenge goal.   Thank you for all that you do for Rotary!
Sincerely,
Larry & Kyle Smith
